In the Division of Clinical Tools, we create VR and immersive games to affect health. In the paid internship you will make a difference and develop fun and immersive game experiences that help people expand their health-related skills. Interns produce actual products they can highlight to future employers to demonstrate mastery.

Join us in our Semester Paid Internship Program as UI/UX Designer

The UI/UX Designer will craft consistent and eye-catching UI styles across multiple projects using Canvas components.

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Collaborate with designers to determine functionality and usability requirements
  • Design, create, and import UI components into Unity Projects
  • Create logos, icons, and marketing materials
  • Test functionality and bug fixing to ensure work is end user ready


  • Part-time, 15-20 hours per week [set schedule, flexible hours]
  • $13-$16/hour for semester
  • All work and code associated with the position become the property of Clinical Tools, Inc.

What You Bring To The Position:

  • Completion or current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters level program relevant to position
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Creativity in regard to level/challenge design
  • Experience with 2D art and authoring tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with Unity 3D’s Canvas components
  • Experience creating assets and styles for user interfaces
  • Knowledge of user interface design, interaction design, information architecture, and the ability to generate design ideas
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English
  • Ability to work in the US for any employer
