Online teletraining of physicians has the potential to address novel and serious public health challenges via rapid and wide dissemination. However, curricula must affect clinical skills. This project created a framework for an online skills training curriculum utilizing remote Internet-chat based Standardized Patients within a six month timeframe. Similar approaches can develop teletraining solutions for a wide range of public health problems.
